Job overview:
- Perform major and minor repairs as a Senior Trailer Technician in Gary.
- Work on company trailers, intermodal chassis and containers.
Responsibilities:
- Repair or replace components on company trailers, chassis and containers.
- Perform repairs on major accident damage - some that may require welding.
- Diagnose and repair all issues involving trailer electrical systems.
- Communicate status updates with internal customers.
Skills and qualifications:
- Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of two years of trailer technician experience.
- Mastery of various diesel technician tools, including hand and power tools, cutting and welding torches, frame and body straightening equipment, etc.
- Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
- Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

- Additional $1.50 per hour on second and third shift, plus an additional $.65 per hour on weekends.
