Creative Director

What the day will look like

Work as a core part of the Consumer Benefit Solutions Communications & Engagement Team. To create, edit and deliver benefit guide booklets, posters, postcards, videos, microsites and other communication materials that go directly to our clients. This digital communication process involves strategic assessments of the health care market, key trends and the identification of new and innovative solutions. The creative and collaborative skills you bring to this process are essential for writing engaging, results-driven communication materials for our clients to help them achieve desired outcomes.Our North American Communication practice includes approximately 40 consultants, with expertise in strategy, writing, art direction, graphic design, editing, production, and new media.

  • Responsible for creating and delivering consistently high quality, scalable templates and content for mulit-channel mediums that engage and educate clients employees on their benefit program.
  • Ability to create custom design assets and campaigns.
  • Serves as a leader for Design team who create communications assets and benefits professor solutions delivered to clients at scale.
  • Expanding self-service opportunities through the development of flexible templates and visual asset creation.
  • Analyze and optimize visual creation performance through the selection and evaluation of KPIs.
  • Improving workflow of asset development through implementing a digital platform/DAMS
  • Oversee consistent growth and refreshing of all assets, print, web, social, video, webinar, motion graphics.
  • Participate in client and internal meetings, either in-person or virtually, to discuss Aon's point of view and provide collaborative strategic consulting.
  • Gather and analyze reports and other presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare information to facilitate requirements of client requests and/or support the activities of the aligned client consultant.
  • Evaluate plan design and costs relative to various measures and benchmarks reported to clients.
  • Ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
  • Create content to be delivered through print, online, and mobile channels.
  • Demonstrate good organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Skills and experience that will lead to success

We are seeking to recruit a diverse group of hardworking individuals who offer varying experiences, backgrounds and strengths to ensure we can continue to offer the most innovative solutions to our clients. Additionally, we take the following into consideration:

  • 15+ years of experience in Creative/Graphic Design requiredpreferably in the insurance or employee benefits industry
  • Involvement in your community, extracurricular activities and leadership experience
  • Collaborative individuals with experience delivering accurate, timely and engaging messages, through print and online channels
  • Project related experience, and effective interpersonal and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of graphic design, including projects showcasing a focus on communication mediums
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlookisrequired. Software skills are a plus, specifically Microsoft Excel & Access

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree with major in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, or a related degree preferred, but open to other majors.

Pay Transparacy

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000 - $135,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
